Work record book, "Skudsmaalsbog", belonged to Agnes Andersen, black & beige marbled cardboard cover, black cloth spine, 48 pages total; first 6 pages have printing; pages 7-10 have writing. Inside front cover page is signed by owner. Dated 1903.
Booklets like these were issued to a young person apprenticed out for one year or longer to landowners or industry. They received no pay until the end of the apprenticeship, and then the money was given to the parents.
This booklet was issued at Bandhom, on the Island of Lolland, in Denmark to Agnes after she finished her schooling at age 14.
