Bronze medal, "Johan Ludvig Runeberg 1804-1904", in black box. (a) Round bronze medal with relief depiction of two Classical women holding a lyre and text around upper edge: FINLAND STOD FÖR HANSSJÄL DET KULNA HANS TORFTIGA GÖMDA HELIGA FÄDERNESLAND, and below: AF MEDBORGARE OCH MEDBORGARINNOR. On the reverse is a relief profile portrait of a man, head and shoulders, with text below: JOHAN LUDVIG RUNEBERG 1804-1904. (b) Black cardboard box base, lined in red velvet, with indentation for medal and red ribbon to aid in removal of medal. (c) Black cardboard box lid. |
