Description |
Carved Danish bridal chest. Very large solid chest deeply carved on front and around one board to side. Large, heavy iron handles on both ends. Front design is in four sections. Each is recessed with deep carving of fruit and separated with about 4" carved board. Upper section of front also has four panels and each has a carved word "Sidevs. Pfonobis. Qviscon. Tranos". Upper central plain panel has an ornate metal key plate. |
