Description |
Danish Hedebo Folk Costume Dress, made of dark green wool. Floor length skirt made of woven wool, attached bodice, both dark green with red patterned woven wool and attached dark green knit elbow length sleeves. Dark green Satin ribbon trim around neckline and armholes, tied across the opening of the bodice. Different embroidered ribbon along the hem at the bottom of the sleeves, and around the edge of the bottom of the skirt. There is a black packet sewn on the proper right side, hip level. Red embroidered button hole stitching at the top of slits around waist of bodice. The bodice is lined in off white linen. Bodice closes center front with 5 sets of hooks and eyes closures. |
